When there is limited access for fastening and typical nut-bolt-washer set ups are impossible, Alpha’s line of engineered fasteners including our Snap Lock Nut and Snap Lock Bolt retainers are uniquely designed to fit into challenging locations for secure clamping force during assembly. Welded fasteners, historically, the solution in limited access circumstances, are costly to install and very difficult to remove in the event of damage. Service events involving a welded fastener failure may require a complete rework of the vehicle structure and removing them often requires a complete cut off. The unique locking feature of Alpha’s engineered fasteners, Snap Lock Nut and Snap Lock Bolt retainers deliver ease of installation and provide secure clamping force for critical joints. As a removable and replaceable fastener system rather than an unserviceable welded attachment, they offer greater part value.

Snap Lock Bolt Assembly
Designed to eliminate the performance limitations of weld on fasteners in structural assemblies, Alpha’s patented snap lock bolt assemblies incorporate clip on hex flange bolts to eliminate the cross threading, weld failures and low property class strengths that can lead to significant warranty issues in offline repair operations. Ergonomically and innovatively designed, Alpha’s snap lock bolt assemblies are easily and quickly removed and replaced in service or repair events.

Snap Lock Nut Assembly
The same innovative snap lock engineering seen in the Snap Lock Bolt Assembly is utilized in the Alpha’s patented Snap Lock Nut Assembly, where component assembly is achieved without the addition of another layer of retainer material in the joint. Ergonomically and innovatively designed, Alpha’s snap lock nut assemblies are also easily and quickly removed and replaced in service or repair events.
