AlphaUSA Welcomes PMA

AlphaUSA opened its doors on October 10 for about 20 representatives from the Eastern Michigan Precision Metal Forming Association. (PMA) for a presentation and tour of our advanced manufacturing facility.

PMA arranges plant tours for its members periodically throughout the year. “By doing this, it gives members a chance to view and experience other metal-formers,” said Shelly McMahon, AlphaUSA’s Vice President of Material Management. “

Recently, McMahon took on the duty as Vice Chair of the Eastern Michigan PMA Board. “AlphaUSA is very proud of our facilities and our doors are always open to our customers and other approved associations,” she said.  “The members who attended the tour were very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed their experience.”

Guests from PMA heard from AlphaUSA leadership and viewed a presentation on product development. The group then broke into teams and toured the facility.

It’s been a while since members of the Eastern Michigan PMA have taken a group tour of a facility, explained one member.

“AlphaUSA is an absolutely first-class facility” said Jeff Aznaborian, president of Clips and Clamps Industries.  “Their attention to detail, the pride they take in their work areas and as a company as a whole, shows in every square inch of the facility. I do plant tours all the time and this is fantastic.”
